A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples

“For I passed on to you as most important what I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Many East Asians are interested in learning American Easter and Christmas traditions. Unfortunately, most only know about a bunny and Santa Claus. However, the subject matter provides workers and partners a wonderful natural bridge to the gospel, and conversations with the curious make for ideal opportunities to share the redemptive story.

Pray Christians will have many opportunities to share the gospel message during the Easter and Christmas seasons. Ask that those who hear will open their hearts to the Good News and experience salvation, especially those of unreached people groups. Pray the workers and partners will effectively follow up with new Christians.
