A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples

Japanese Christians turn to Jesus from a religious context in which they seldom practiced their faith—they likely went to a shrine once or twice a year. Sometimes it is a challenge to help new Christians understand that they need to daily abide in Christ, serve the Lord through a local church, and share the Good News with others.

Pray for Saki-san*, Chinatsu-san*, and Mari-san*, who are all new followers of Christ! Thank God for drawing these precious ladies and others like them to himself. Pray for missionaries and local Christians in Yokohama, Japan, to seek God’s wisdom about how to bring new Christians into the local church and help them begin to grow in their new life in Christ.
