A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples
Christianity has had a presence for more than one hundred years in the eastern part of China, where hundreds of churches currently meet. However, in recent years, government restrictions have been placed on churches. Some have been closed, others were forced to remove crosses from their buildings, and at others, pastors were brought in for questioning.
Pray Chinese Christians will find their strength in the Lord and be an example to non-Christians of the peace that surpasses understanding as they walk through difficult days. May they remember that they are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus. If God is for them, who can be against them? Nothing will separate them from Christ’s love, and they will have overwhelming victory through him (Romans 8:31-39).
