A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples

It is estimated that a fifth of the world’s population is ethnically Chinese. This statistic, coupled with the fact that Chinese people live in almost every country in the world, makes loving, serving, encouraging, and partnering with Chinese Christians unique and exciting. Because many already live cross-culturally, we have the honor of helping them see themselves as “sent” (Romans 10:15).

Pray the ethnic Chinese around the world will see the people living around them as souls created by our loving Father that need hope for this life and eternity. Pray they will follow the Lord’s leadership to share with their neighbors, a people group in their host country, or another foreign land. Chinese Christians are already uniquely positioned to reach the nations with the gospel—pray they will recognize that they are also poised to finish the task.
