A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples
China has seen a significant number of churches planted over the past couple of decades, mostly in urban centers. Recently, churches have begun to collaborate to reach unreached people groups in dark and difficult places that lack mature, reproducing churches. They are developing prayer initiatives, deploying short-term teams, sending church members to cross-cultural missions trainings, and pulling together resources so they can support their own long-term Christian workers. Some larger churches have gathered enough resources to undergird those they send out. Yet they struggle to tend to missionaries spiritually while they face difficult challenges. Christians in smaller churches also are saying the Lord is calling them to missions.
Pray these churches can get the training they need to equip those they send. Pray the larger congregations will help the smaller churches develop the needed infrastructure to support their sent ones.
