A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples

Missionaries who first came to Taiwan more than 150 years ago faced a difficult life and resistance to their message. Today, life is easy in Taiwan, but the spiritual darkness is still great. Only when more Christians embrace the Great Commission will we see more churches being planted to advance the kingdom. We long to see a movement of God that results in lives transformed by Jesus Christ.

Pray that a culture of evangelism and discipleship will be as normal as eating and sleeping in the churches of Taiwan. Pray for cross-cultural workers who will take the gospel to the nations. Pray for established structures to equip and support the sending of many East Asian workers. Ask the Lord to give churches a heart for all peoples—and pray for men and women to obey the call to go.
