A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples

“We need to learn to interpret and apply the Bible so we can teach our people and equip them for ministry.” These were the words of East Asian church leaders about ten years ago. As the church in East Asia grew, a need arose for theological training that could equip pastors and missionaries. A seminary was launched by a team of theological educators to meet this need. From the beginning, the team prayed for God to raise up nationals who could help lead the seminary. Recently, God answered that prayer through Timothy*. He graduated from the seminary and became the school’s first national faculty member.

Pray for him and his wife as Timothy grows as a teacher and leader. Pray God will fill them with wisdom, protect them from evil, and give them joy in Jesus.
