A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples

The 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan, start on Friday, July 24, and end on Sunday, August 9. The Paralympics follow from August 25 to September 6. All of these events occur during the hottest time of year in Tokyo. Event planners are concerned about the effect of the heat on the athletes as well as spectators.

Pray event organizers will have wisdom now about what needs to be done in preparation for the heat. Pray God will prepare a way for the Connect 2020 team to provide space for spectators to sit, talk, and enjoy a cool drink. As Jesus was offered a drink from the well by a woman, pray that many will reach out to those visiting Tokyo during these international events.
