A new Christian called to say her husband, a nominal Christian, had divorced her due to his father telling him to divorce her. We talked, prayed, and went back to God’s teaching that marriage is for life and that she and her husband needed to come together in obedience. As a Christian, she needed to stand firm in her conviction that marriage was a lifetime commitment worth fighting for. Later, she wrote and said they had come back together and that he and his father were both attending church. Pray for believers in East Asia to faithfully bear witness for Christ each day, no matter the challenges that come their way. Pray the Lord will use their faithful witness to inspire their lost family and friends to seek the hope that endures when all other hopes fade.
