Kunming is the capital of Yunnan, a province in southwest China that borders Laos, Vietnam, and Myanmar. It doesn’t take long to recognize that Kunming’s dialect sounds very different from other dialects in China. This is because the majority of Yunnan’s population consists of different minority groups. Of these minority groups, many are still unreached and have no Christians workers focused on bringing the gospel. Pray the Lord will bless and strengthen the churches in Kunming and Yunnan to rise up and reach out to people groups with different lifestyles. Pray the church leaders will recognize the needs among these lost people groups, pray for their salvation, share the Good News, and establish churches among them.
