During a parenting class, a young mother asked how she could effectively help her four-year-old daughter become well-behaved. Her young child is living with her grandparents in a distant city. According to the grandmother, the child has been “acting out” recently and is almost out of control. Today many families in China choose to have their children live with their grandparents so they have childcare while the parents work. Children are often separated from their parents, and sometimes husbands and wives choose to live separately for work-related and logistical reasons. Please pray these families will come to know the Lord and realize God has a different plan for them. Pray the Lord will help them see that time with their family should be a priority. Pray they will allow God to heal these broken family relationships.
