“For our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens” (Ephesians 6:12). When God’s Word takes hold, opposition often follows. Zhengzhou is the capital city of Henan province and home to several church networks. Because many churches did not agree to sign government documents on how they will operate, they are under severe scrutiny and persecution. Churches are being destroyed, doors barred, and Bibles burned. Please pray for these persecuted churches and Christians. Many Christians are terrified, while others are bravely standing up for the Lord in this difficult time. Pray that they will not be discouraged but continue to be courageous.
