A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples
The Korean peninsula has a rich and long history of more than five thousand years. It was devastated during the Korean War, which resulted in the two Koreas, North and South. Since the war, the two countries have taken vastly different paths. The contrast is further seen by the wildly different conditions of their populations and economies. Relations between the North and South are complicated and delicate, to say the least. But many South Koreans want unification and are doing what they can to reach this goal.
Pray for the Christians of South Korea to lead the way by prayer and practical support for unification. Pray for God to compel the leadership of the two countries to seek what is best for the Korean people as a whole. Pray God’s will be done among these divided people.
