Donna* and her sister were orphans who lived secretly as refugees during a chaotic childhood. Providentially, they were adopted by a Christian woman who helped raise them in a safe country. Today, Donna is a baptized Christian who is growing in her faith. She’s training to become a teacher and hopes to instruct the children of her people group. Unexpectedly, Donna heard the news that her mother is alive and in the same city where she lives. During their years of separation, the mother searched diligently for her daughters without success. However, miraculously, after the mother became a Christian, God made a way for them to be reunited.
