A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples
The Cona Monba people of China live just north of the borders of Bhutan and India. Because of their location and government restrictions, the Cona Monba are one of the least reached people groups in China. They migrated across the Himalayan Mountains roughly three centuries ago, and until 1949, lived as oppressed serfs under the Tibetans. Today, they reside primarily in areas where access by foreigners is limited. Few people know about them and fewer have prayed for them. Christians from Bhutan have shared the gospel with them. However, about 98 percent have never heard the Good News, and no known Cona Monba Christians exist.
Pray they will be adopted through prayer and the name of the Cona Monba will daily be brought before the Lord. Pray God will speak to them in their dreams. May God’s salvation come to these people.
