A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples
At any given time, missionaries in Osaka are making contacts with unbelieving Japanese people in every imaginable venue, whether it be coffee shops, hospitals, local businesses, exercise clubs, or parks. Often the following questions are asked: “Why did you come to Japan?” “Where is your church?” “Will you teach me English?”and “How can I know God when I have never met a Japanese Christian?”
Pray every question will receive concrete answers in their heart language. Pray that answers like, “I came to tell people like you about the wonderful love of Jesus,” “Our church meets at [this] place,” “Come and join us for our monthly game night where you can practice your English,” and “Come to our new church and meet many Japanese Christians,” will be well received.
