A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples

Boaz* is a pastor in China. His church originally began ministering on a university campus. While many people heard the gospel, the group ebbed and flowed as students graduated every three to four years and moved away. A large group of those who decided to stay have married and are beginning to have children. As the church grows and matures, there is even greater responsibility upon the leadership. Boaz also homeschools his children. His wife works full-time so that they can continue to serve their local church. Many pastors in East Asia are overworked and exhausted. Instead of training the saints in the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:12), they tend to do the majority of ministry themselves.

Pray for churches like this to create a disciple-making environment that trains the next generation of leaders and disciples.
