A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples
Baptist work in northern Taiwan began seventy years ago, when two female missionaries and one local pastor arrived. Taiwanese people predominantly believe in a combination of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, and animism. Thank God for his kindness to Taiwan Baptists over the last seventy years. Some of the first churches are still active today!
Pray for the people of Taipei to receive the gospel with joy and gladness. Pray many will repent of their sin, turn to Christ in faith, and surrender their lives to him. Pray for Taiwan Baptist churches as they seek to reach their neighborhoods, engage university students, develop new leaders, send out missionary teams, and plant new churches. Pray northern Taiwan will be saturated with healthy, multiplying Baptist churches that partner with the IMB for global church planting.
