A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples

Americans are often reminded of the economy’s instability, especially when trade wars begin. For Chinese families, most simply want to provide a promising education and future for their children.

Pray the financial pressures that Chinese families experience will cause them to look to God as their ultimate hope. Pray for Chinese Christians to model the hope and joy that’s found in trusting Jesus as their provider. On a national level, pray that Chinese leaders who have influence over the economy will become aware of their hopelessness apart from the hope found in Christ. May disciples of Christ emerge as economic leaders in China in order to lead with his wisdom and provide a testimony of the goodness and provision of the one true Creator God. Ask that God will bless the church in China, so that they will bless families and the whole nation.
