A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples
There are three types of Chinese people working in the northern part of Africa and the Middle East: blue-collar workers, most of whom are allowed to live only inside a closed camp; merchants, who are typically unavailable to talk; and white-collar workers, who are fewer in number but easier to engage.
Pray local Chinese-speaking Christians will have compassionate hearts for the lost among each segment of workers. Pray God will open doors to the workers living in the camp so local churches can reach them with the gospel. Pray for Christians among the merchants to boldly share the gospel with their neighbors. Pray God will open the hearts of white-collar workers to be receptive to the gospel. Pray for God-honoring partnerships between missionaries and among various mission groups as training centers are started to equip workers to reach each of these segments.
