A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples

The majority of small churches in South Korea are financially dependent on their denomination, or megachurch, or other supplementary earnings. Some of the pastors’ wives work outside the home to support their families while the husbands minister full time. Some pastors (and their wives) run small businesses, not only for income, but also as outreach platforms in the community. These pastors have more of a pioneering spirit than a traditional mindset. One such pastor who is a professional fitness trainer started a small exercise center that also serves as their church. Another pastor gives out free waffles to school kids and children in the church neighborhood to connect with the residents. Praise God for the courage and pioneering spirit of these young pastors.
