A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples

A local Japanese man named Ace* has become interested in God. During his entire working career, he has traveled the world and heard and experienced many different aspects of religion. Christianity has stuck out to him the most. Ace’s adult son decided to follow Jesus and be baptized at one of the local Baptist churches in the city of Kobe. He explained the gospel to his father and how he gave his life to Jesus. His son then decided to move to the Philippines and ended up having an accident that took his life. After his son’s tragic death, Ace started going to the Baptist church where his son accepted the Lord.

Even though Ace has doubts, pray that the Lord will give him the faith to believe in Jesus.
