A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples
In China’s largest cities it is often quoted that at least one out of every five people is a migrant. Many migrant workers can hear the gospel for the first time when they move to big cities, but their lives are miserable there—it is normal to work more than twelve hours a day and they are far from family as their children live in rural hometowns with grandparents. Large numbers of migrant workers are now coming to faith and Chinese churches are growing tremendously. However, churches are challenged in how to help with spiritual growth because most of the church members are first-generation Christians with little experience in discipleship.
Pray all migrant workers will have the opportunity to hear the name of Jesus, turn to him, and be saved. Pray for their spiritual growth and their families’ salvation.
