A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples
Day of Prayer and Fasting: Government Restrictions
“God arises. His enemies scatter, and those who hate Him flee from His presence” (Psalm 68:1). Paul states in Philippians 3:18, “That many live as enemies of the cross of Christ.” These people aren’t necessarily evil but oppose Christian values, God’s Word, and God. We should expect this, as people who also once opposed Jesus. How then can Christians tell them about the cross, the way to heaven, and God’s love?
Pray for access to the billion-plus people of East Asia. Ask God to give Christians creative ways to live among the lost, necessary language skills to communicate clearly, and favor with governments. Many Christians today influence leaders like Daniel did with King Nebuchadnezzar. May today’s enemies become tomorrow’s Christ-followers.
