A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples
Today China celebrates International Children’s Day. Schools host special activities. Parents may take their children to a park or movie and will often treat them to a special meal. Increased government scrutiny makes it difficult for churches to hold activities that honor children. In China, it is illegal to share the gospel with anyone who is under the age of eighteen. Children are trusting and have pliable hearts yet are restricted from hearing the best news ever.
Pray parents, aunts, uncles, other relatives, neighbors, and teachers will share the gift of God’s love with Chinese children while they are young. Pray that Chinese Christians faithfully share the gospel with each generation.
