A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples

Learning a foreign language is a challenge for most people. For some Christian workers, having competency in more than two languages is necessary to communicate the gospel to certain unreached people groups. This is often the case for people ministering in East Asia. They must communicate in three languages due to their job, location, and the people group they serve. Typically, these workers are fluent in one language, capable in another, and studying the third. Gaining competency will enhance their ability to proclaim the gospel, improve their communication
with national partners, and increase their effectiveness to train others.

Pray for proficiency in second and third languages. Ask God to encourage these workers as they study and bless them for the sake of his kingdom.
