Day 16

Over half of the people got up and left during the Lord’s Supper. They knew that, as unbelievers, they were unqualified to partake of this ordinance representing Christ’s atoning sacrifice. And yet, these lost East Asian people return to that church week after week. They depend on relationships for survival. Please pray that as they gather together for food, fun, and fellowship, they will hear and respond to the hope of the gospel. Pray they will be committed to the Word and their new spiritual family with the love and truth of the gospel. Pray they will be faithful to the task of encouraging and equipping one another to live out the gospel so that their neighbors will also encounter the gifts of Christ’s love and forgiveness—making an eternal difference in the nations.
