The Korean Hands On program is open to Korean Christian young adults, college students, and graduate students for actual mission field experience and training. Korean Hands On students will join IMB teams in East Asia for a term of one year, during which the IMB field missionaries will mentor you. At the same time, you will provide them with much needed assistance in sharing the Gospel.
Korean Hands On students will attend a local university for language learning, as well as be actively involved in ministry. You will intentionally meet with many people of the host culture, make friends with them, serve them, and share the love and truth of Christ with them. This program will challenge you to seek and discover God’s plan for you.
During your term of service, you will work alongside the IMB field missionaries, serve the local people, and may even be co-workers with American Hands On students on the IMB teams. Through these interactions, you can have a wide range of cultural and language exposure. Above all, you will have the precious opportunity to love and serve others, and to share God’s Heart and Vision for the host country and people. It is our hope that all Korean Hands On students will continue to grow into valuable Kingdom workers for the Church in Korea, and for the world mission movement.
