Church Planting

Church planting is not a way to build buildings and invite people. Rather, church pioneers go into the life and culture of those who need the gospel. They embrace young Koreans and get to know them according to Jesus’s command to “go and make disciples.” They apply the word of God to all the processes of healing pain and wounds with words and prayers. Also, we aim for a model of a missionary church in which each person realizes they are part of Christ’s church.

We pursue a model in which everyone should be disciples and everyone should be trainers. The idea of disciples who make disciples and churches that plant churches is the DNA of church planting. As a result of this church planting DNA, Yeonhui Namu Church was founded in Yeonhui-dong in 2019.

We would like to expand this church planting around Yonsei University, Ewha Women’s University, Sogang University, and Hongik University, which are located in the Sinchon area of Seoul. All ministries are centered on God’s words.

We conduct a ministry to establish missional churches with church planting strategy using reproducible discipleship through C2C and T4T, focusing on the strategies used by the IMB missionaries in the field.
