A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples
Before 1990, the Yanghuang people of China were not yet an official people group but part of an Undetermined Minority. Today they remain unaware of the God who has always known them. They live among other people groups in the hills of Guizhou, so most Yanghuang are multilingual, speaking Chinese or Bouyei in addition to their native tongue. Because of their great language skills, it is possible for them to hear the gospel through radio broadcasts or local evangelistic efforts. Yet the Yanghuang continue in the darkness of polytheism and animism.
Pray God will burst from the heavens and come down to reveal himself to the Yanghuang and bring them home. Before they had their own name, he knew them. Ask God to send faithful Christians to their village to tell them the Good News and grow them into faithful followers of Jesus.
