Great Shepherd who gave His life for His sheep, most people remember Nagasaki as the second site of the atomic bombings that ended World WarII. But Nagasaki is also known for a 16th-century tragedy: it was the city where Japan’s first Christians were martyred for their faith. Father, thank You for believers who are willing to forfeit their lives for You. Raise up a generation of saints who will gladly pay the ultimate price for their beliefs.
