Father of lights, Zigong is known for its colorful lantern festivals and its history of salt production. Yet so few people walk in the brightness of Your presence. We praise You for the good work You have begun there. We plead that the light of Your glory will shine brightly through Your believers. Empower them so that Jesus’s love and truth permeate this Sichuan city and spread to every dark corner of the world.

You are the light of the world. A city situated on a hill cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket, but rather on a lampstand… Matthew 5:14-15
