WEIFANG, CHINA
Eric Liddell, the renowned Scottish Olympian, died in a Japanese internment camp in Weifang during World War II, just five months before liberation. His influence was so great that his death left a vacuum in the camp. God, we pray You will be pleased with believers in Weifang as You were pleased with Eric. May he be an example of remaining steadfast under persecution. We pray Christians there will be known for their love and good works.
