HIROSHIMA, JAPAN
God of peace and mercy, You know that Hiroshima was the first city to suffer destruction by an atomic weapon. This attack has seared itself into the consciousness of every person who lives there. As a result, peace is a deeply-held value in Hiroshima. Lord, we pray for this city to know the One who will end all wars, and that its citizens will become ambassadors for Your glory to Japan and the world.
