BOUYEI OF CHINA
The Bouyei people have lived in Guizhou for nearly 2000 years. They are polytheists and hire shamans to cast out demons of illness or bad fortune. The ceremonies often involve risk in order to show the power of the spirits. God, Christians have invested their lives among the Bouyei, but so few have come to faith. Rescue the youth from a lifetime of darkness by planting believers in their midst as they move to the cities for work. Don’t you say, ‘There are still four more months, then comes the harvest’?
