YOKOSUKA, JAPAN
The city of Yokosuka sits at the door of Tokyo Bay. It was at this port that Commodore Perry and his “Black Ships” signed a treaty that opened Japan to the West. More than 165 years later, Japan continues to influence and be influenced by the world. Lord, help the people there to hear Your voice and worship You rather than venerating the famous Goddess of Mercy Lighthouse that overlooks the bay.
