A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples
There has never been a known church or Christian among the Ersu people of China. They consider themselves Tibetan Buddhists but are very nominal in practice. Perhaps God has protected them from becoming entrenched in a religion that will prevent them from turning to him. Neighboring areas have had gospel activity, but few if any attempts have been made to reach the Ersu. They believe in reincarnation and presume the afflicted among them are receiving what is due them, thus they are not motivated to help the hurting.
Pray these people will know and be overcome with the love of Christ and begin to help others. May the evidence of their new life be visible to all, bringing glory to God and drawing many into the kingdom.
