A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples
Due to western cultural and Christian influences, Christmas Day is actually a holiday in South Korea. Decorative lights can be seen in the capital city of Seoul, and even a Santa Claus can be spotted now and then. With the Christmas celebration deeply tied to the gospel message and the incarnation of Jesus Christ on earth, Christmas is a great opportunity for reaching Koreans with the gospel.
Pray many unbelieving Koreans will be curious about the meaning of Christmas, and that the Holy Spirit will open their hearts to the gospel message. Pray Christians will be eager and bold to share the gospel during the Christmas season. Pray for the volunteer teams from the United States that travel to Korea to help spread the gospel news during this time.
