A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples

Pray God will stir the hearts of students and teachers at the universities and high schools in Fukuoka and Kitakyushu, Japan, to seek to know him. God provided opportunities for missionaries and a local pastor to speak to a large assembly of students in the girls’ school, founded by Southern Baptist missionaries nearly one hundred years ago. Last year, God saved two of these students as a result of the pastor’s message and many prayers.

Pray these new Christians will grow through God’s Word and in their obedience to Christ, and that spiritual fruit will be produced through their witnesses. As more opportunities arise to share the gospel, pray God will continue to speak through the Christians here and give them words that will penetrate hearts and produce a bountiful harvest. Pray for blessed and favorable connections with the teachers.
