A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples

God has been doing a mighty work in Sendai, Japan. In 2010, three of the city’s four Baptist churches were without a pastor. While the churches were in the process of calling leaders, God brought missionaries to the area to join two of the congregations. Since the Japan earthquake, tsunami, and radiation disaster of 2011, God has been working in and through the church families, their new pastors, and the missionary families. God has established bonds of Christian love as these people have learned to walk, minister, and intercede together for their community and for one another. In 2018, one Sendai church saw three students come to faith and be baptized!

Praise the Lord that other churches have similar stories of how God is working in and through their intercessory prayer and combined ministry!
