A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples

A friend took Takeshi*, a young Japanese man, to church when he was learning English at a university in the United States. When Takeshi returned to the city of Kobe, he started attending a local church. He has heard the gospel message several times but doesn’t want to believe or be baptized. However, he desires to go to church every Sunday and hang out with other Christians often.

Pray that the Holy Spirit keeps bringing Takeshi closer to Jesus and giving him a desire to hear God’s Word. Pray he will understand the meaning of the cross and make the decision to follow Jesus.
