A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples

Most newly-appointed missionaries to East Asia come to areas that provide the opportunity for intensive language study in settings that immerse them in their target languages and cultures. This is often a difficult time of transition for those who are living overseas for the first time as they learn to navigate life in a different way. They typically begin this time very dependent on others, but soon grow independent as they learn how to get around and take care of daily matters.

Pray for new personnel as they work through culture shock, full-time language learning, and adjusting to life in a culture that is far different from their home culture.
