A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples

There are many reasons for homelessness in Tokyo. Feelings of abandonment by family, friends, work, and society lead to feelings of hopelessness, hurt, anger, confusion, and loneliness. The Good News promises love, forgiveness, and acceptance. Through Christ, lives are transformed by love, joy, hope, peace, and belonging. These people are no longer eternally homeless (even though they may continue to live in a park or train station) because they have found their home in Christ.

Pray those who take on leadership responsibilities in homeless ministry will grow strong in their faith. Pray those who are being discipled will reach out to others who are still hurting and broken. Pray ministry volunteers will show God’s love, grace, and compassion to all they meet.
