A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples

Jim* and Sarah* headed to the mission field filled with a variety of emotions. They were anxious about navigating the new culture and language, but it was also thrilling. Once they arrived in their new destination and began to do life in unfamiliar territory with a language they couldn’t yet communicate in, Jim and Sarah started to realize how much they needed to learn before feeling competent. New personnel like Jim and Sarah often have high expectations and put a lot of pressure on themselves.

Pray for new missionaries to persevere in the midst of challenges and spiritual warfare. Pray for leadership as they seek to effectively mentor and train first termers for the calling Christ has put on their lives.
