A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples
Nearly twenty-eight million people attend universities in China—that’s 20 percent of college students worldwide. The exam of their lifetime awaits each student at the end of their high school education. Those who achieve the highest scores within each province are then vaulted into the world of higher education. Although many study away from their hometowns, they still feel pressure to succeed for the sake of their families. In this collective society, honor for the family is of utmost importance, so identity can be tied to whether they succeed or fail.
As many university students grapple with the daily pressure to succeed, pray that God will give them an opportunity to hear about a loving heavenly Father who sent his Son to die to purchase their souls. Pray this truth will change them into sons and daughters
