A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples

“Wherever he leads me, I will follow. Whatever he feeds me, I will swallow.” This simple and sometimes lighthearted missionary creed speaks directly to—and proactively against—the human desire for earthly comfort. People find their home culture most comfortable. Yet Jesus, our perfect example of an incarnational witness, forsook his perfect home—all the comforts and glory due his name—and made his home with us, as a servant.

Pray East Asian missionaries and missionaries to East Asians will sacrificially love the people and cultures they seek to engage with the gospel. Pray they will desire the salvation of souls more than earthly or home culture comforts.
