TAKASAKI, JAPAN
Jehovah God, Takasaki is notable for its huge white Goddess of Mercy statue, which overlooks the city. Many people love this goddess because they believe she hears their requests. Lord, we ask that the people of Takasaki will know that all who trust in man-made objects will be disappointed. We pray that they will all come to know You, the Living God, who sees and hears, and who reaches out to sustain.

They have mouths but cannot speak, eyes, but cannot see. Psalm 135:16
