Loving Father, unlike most city districts in China, Jianyang’s rural population far exceeds its urban population. With Jianyang’s convenient access to Chengdu, people from the city often weekend in this lovely country setting. Lord, awaken churches from the big city to the needs of Jianyang. Burden them for the women housed in the provincial prison there and lead them to pray and fast about reaching out to the people in this part of Sichuan.

Isn’t the fast I choose: To break the chains of wickedness, to untie the ropes of the yoke, to set the oppressed free, and to tear off every yoke? Isaiah 58:6
