HAKKA OF CHINA
Father, centuries ago a group of people became known as Hakka, or “guest families,” due to the frequent need to flee from oppressors and settle in safer areas. The Hakka became resilient, holding on to their culture despite displacement. This determination often hinders their willingness to hear the good news. God, give Hakka believers a burden to use shared language and identity to reach their people, and help Hakka non-believers see their need for You.
I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in… Matthew 25:35
