A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples

Approximately half of China’s population lives in cities. The China State Council predicts population growth in cities will continue at about 1 percent every year. The large number of people moving to and living in cities has put tremendous pressure on public services. Traffic jams are frequent and housing prices continue to soar. Often rural people who try to relocate to urban centers face difficulties in finding housing and accessing services as local governments struggle to provide basic services and sustainable living environments.

Pray Christians who live in these urban centers will reach out to new arrivals. Pray they will offer encouragement and look for ways to bless people. Pray Christians will be bold witnesses as God brings people into their lives who likely have never heard the name of Jesus.
